| This is a beautiful solid mahogany late 19th early 20th Century three drawer Chippendale Chinoiserie style beautiful dressing table chest dating circa 1900 - 1920This fabulous dressing chest stands on beautiful castellated feet having square form legs united by beautiful pierced Chinoiserie style spandrels and rising over this is the two over one three drawer configuration with original Chinoiserie style solid brass handles. The top left drawer retains its original lock and escutcheon and rising over this is the solid mahogany top with a raised back with blind fretwork Chinoiserie style decoration and rising over this is the beautiful bevelled mirror set in a mahogany frame and set within two hexagonal form pilasters with turned finial tops The dressing table chest is in lovely condition, the mirror is in very nice condition having two minor shrinkage shakes to the sides but aside from this is a very nice piece of antique bedroom furniture. The dressing chest measures 42.5 inches wide, has a depth of 20 inches with a height to the top of the chest of 32 inches with a maximum height of 60 inches. This is a beautiful piece of quality furniture dating circa 1900 - 1920, late 19th early 20th Century and is in very nice condition having solid mahogany drawer linings and solid mahogany top and bottom. |
