How
to travel to Pink Geranium
By
road
The
most convenient way is by car or Highway bus. From our shop in
Tsukuba we are just just an hour door-to door from Tokyo station.
To come here by bus, go to the Yeasu Exit. The Tsukuba bus departs
every 10 minutes at peak times. Be careful to take the bus to
Tsukuba Center (and Not Mount Tsukuba). You can buy single tickets
for 1,250 yen or a book of five tickets (kaesu-ken) for 5,200
yen. The bus travels non stop to Namiki Ohashi in Tsukuba. The
travel time is 55-75 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
From the bridge we are only four minutes away... walk back towards
the petrol station. an turn right then immediately left. Pink
Geranium is visible across the carpark. For a map (in Japanese)
click on the "shop" link above.
By
train
The
closest station is Arakawaoki on the Joban line. From Ueno station
it takes just under an hour to reach Arakawaoki. A bus every 30
minutes connects Arakawakoi to Pink Geranium. Ask the driver if
the bus goes to Higashi Odori. Get off the bus at Namiki Ohashi
and follow the instructions above. From October 2005 the new Tsukuba
express will take you to the center of Tsukuba from Akihabara
in 45 minutes.
